Additional Junior Hunts March 23 - 24, 2013 & May 6 - 19, 2013 Bag Limit: One bearded turkey per day. Possession Limit: Three per season. (A bearded turkey is one having a beard visible through the breast feathers.) 2012 - 2013 FALL SEASON: The Fall season is open from Nov 10 - Dec 9, 2012 . Bag Limit: 1 either-sex turkey per day. Possession Limit: 2 per season. 2012 - 2013 SPRING ARCHERY SEASON: The Spring season is open from May 6, 2013 - May 19, 2013 This season allows archers to hunt an additional 14 days after the close of the General Season. Bag Limit: 1 bearded turkey per day. Possession Limit: 3 per season. (A bearded turkey is one having a beard visible through the breast feathers.) Shoot Time - Spring Season: One half hour before sunrise to 4 p.m. Shoot Time - Fall Season: One half hour before sunrise to sunset. Wild Turkey Hunting: To hunt wild turkey, you must possess a valid California hunting license and an upland game bird stamp. Hunters under the age of 12 may hunt if they have taken and passed a hunter safety course and possess a valid California hunting license.
